AJ Fernandez, famed cigar-maker, has added a new cigar to his New World collection, the ‘Dorado’. Spanish for gold, the Dorado is named after one of AJ Fernandez’s estates where the soil is an incredibly light-brown color, like gold. This Nicaraguan puro features a Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Habano Sun Grown wrapper, a Criollo ’98 binder, and long-fillers from Condega and Esteli. The result is a wonderful medium-bodied smoke with delicious notes of cedar, white pepper, and cinnamon.
