Announced during the Drew Estate Freestyle Live 2023 as the mystery cigar, the Liga Privada H99 Papas Fritas is here! Using a corojo-seed wrapper grown in the Connecticut River Valley the H99 was introduced in 2018 in a 6” x 52 size. This is the fourth vitola produced in the H99 line. The blend features a Connecticut corojo wrapper, over a Mexican San Andres Otapan Negro Ultimo Corte binder and fillers from Honduras, Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania. The Liga Privada H99 Papas Fritas uses trimmings from the other vitolas as part of the filler. “It’s a flavor bomb,” says Willy Herrera, the company’s master blender on the Freestyle Live Show. “It’s yet another expression of the Papas Fritas family, but this time with the coveted corojo hybrid wrapper that’s on the H99.” The Liga Privada H99 Papas Fritas is available in one size, a 4 1/2" x 44 and comes in 25 count boxes.
