Operation Gothic Serpent 30th Anniversary by Hooten Young collaborated with Eladio Diaz to create this cigar that recognizes the 30th anniversary of the 1993 U.S. military operation that sought to capture Mohamed Farrah Aidid, who was the leader of the Somali National Alliance, and was wanted for the attacks against the United Nations troops. The cigar is available in one size only, a 6 ¼” x 54 Belicoso, and the blend consists of a Mexican San Andrés binder, Dominican fillers, and an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. They’re produced at the Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera factory located in the Dominican Republic. The Hooten Young Operation Gothic Serpent 30th Anniversary officially launched on October 3rd, which is the 30th anniversary of the Battle of Mogadishu, the mission that sought to capture two of Aidid’s lieutenants.
