Description

Drew Estate is at it again with another batch of cigars blended by the master blender Willy Herrera. Returning to his favorite type of tobacco, Willy Herrera has added a new Brazilian stick to the Herrera Esteli line of cigars. This particular cigar uses the Mata Fina variety of Brazilian leaf for the wrapper, specifically for the sweetness of its floral notes. A Connecticut binder and Nicaraguan filler make up the rest of this delicious dark Maduro. Despite using a sweet wrapper, the new Herrera Esteli Brazilian is a rather full-bodied cigar. It features a mixture of both earthy and floral flavors that blend surprisingly well. Oddly, as exquisite as the taste is, what truly stands out is the texture. The Herrera Esteli Brazilian can best be described as having a gritty texture, something that if done wrong can ruin a good cigar. Willy does nothing wrong here and made a rather remarkable masterpiece that is loaded with flavor. The new Herrera Esteli Brazilian is not a cigar for beginners. It is the kind of cigar that expects that you are ready for anything and know how to mix a good cigar with the right meal or alcohol. Experienced smokers will love how well this cigar rewards their expertise.
