Crowned Heads is back again with their 2023 release of their infamous The Lost Angel TAA cigar. This year, the limited-edition cigar is a 6” x 54 Toro Extra that has an Ecuadorian Sumatra hybrid C9 wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and a mix of Dominican/Mexican/Nicaraguan fillers. For the first time in 3 years, the Crowned Heads The Lost Angel TAA 2023 is being made by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr.’s Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. “I think we spent more time in development of this blend than on any previous TAA release to date,” said Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads, in a press release when the cigar was announced. “It really began in early 2022 when Ernesto (Perez-Carrillo Jr.) presented this amazingly unique Ecuadorian (Sumatra) hybrid wrapper to us. It was dark and oily, but surprisingly sweet and rich. That was the jumping off point, and from there the blend was in development for the better part of a year.” The Tobacconist’ Association of America (TAA) is a membership group that includes 80 retailers and 40 manufacturers. Production is limited to 1,000 20-count boxes. Order yours now and get FREE SHIPPING when you spend $125 or more!
