Menelik by Foundation cigars have a dark wrapper from San Andrés, Mexico, a Corojo 1999 filler, and binder tobaccos from Condega, Estelí and Jalapa in Nicaragua. They are a limited-release product that Foundation Cigar Company distributes every quarter.

Rollers create the Menelik by Foundation cigar in a factory in Nicaragua. It has intriguing notes of oak, baker's cocoa, pepper, sweet mocha and earth. The price of the Menelik by Foundation depends on the variation you choose. The Toro version is 6 inches long with a ring gauge of 52, while the Petit Robusto is 4 ½ inches long with a 52 ring size. 

The Menelik cigar line has a Biblical connection. It gets its name from Menelik I, King Solomon's son, who reportedly transported the Ark of the Covenant to Ethiopia.
