Description
In 2018, we released the Army of Angel's Toro featuring a San Andres wrapper, Aganorsa binder with FSG & Aganorsa Nicaraguan tobacco in the filler. Fast forward to 2023, we unveil the new Army of Angel’s Connecticut! It features a Connecticut Ecuador Amarillo claro wrapper, an Corojo ‘99 Jalapa binder, and a blend of Corojo ‘99 Esteli, Florida (FSG), & Criollo ‘98 Esteli fillers. Angel Benitez has been the General Manager of Corona Cigar for over 20 years and he is proud to have two cigars bearing his namesake. Presented in a blue box with bronze trim and a band to match, the Army of Angel’s Connecticut also features a blue felt band on the foot, a first in our portfolio at Corona Cigar. The Army of Angel's Connecticut has a burst of pepper on the first puff with a little spiciness on the retrohale and first third. Nuances of maple, oak, cream and citrus coat the palate throughout the remainder of the cigar. The Army of Angel’s Connecticut is a medium-bodied cigar, opposite to its predecessor which was full-bodied. Enjoy the new Army of Angel's Connecticut, brought to you by Corona Cigar and Aganorsa!
